19th SEPTEMBER 2025: Yoplait, the yoghurt experts, has unveiled a kids’ category first : Petits Filous Natural, a smooth mild and creamy yoghurt which is rich in both calcium and vitamin D in a 450g sharing pot, with no added sugar.
In a demonstrable commitment to kids’ nutrition and Yoplait’s mission to bring more dairy and fortification into the diets of children across the UK, the new Petits Filous Natural + Calcium & Vitamin D has been developed to bring lapsed and new consumers into the kids’ yoghurt category.
Yoplait has revealed that over one million children are currently in danger of poor development and growth* because they lack key nutrients such as vitamin D, calcium and iodine, all of which are found in fortified kids’ yoghurts. In the past decade, calcium intakes in children have fallen significantly and just under a fifth of 4–10-year-olds are clinically deficient in vitamin D** – to the extent that bone health diseases such as rickets are resurfacing for the first time since the 1950s***.
“61% of 0–9-year-old children are currently eating yoghurts from outside of the kids’ category with the primary one being Plain, Natural and Greek**** but despite these products being full of dairy goodness, they’re not fortified, which is critical for the healthy development of children,” explains Ewa Moxham, Head of Marketing at Yoplait.
“We are raising the bar on fortification and nutrition with the new launch from Petits Filous as the yoghurt is rich in both calcium and vitamin D, has no added sugar and is natural. It’s the first of its kind to hit the kids’ aisle.”
The larger 450g format allows for between four to five servings making it practical for different at home occasions including breakfast, allowing children and parents to customise their bowl with fruit, nuts and seeds, bringing fun to the natural yoghurt category.
The new launch will be supported with a six-figure investment and will be incorporated into the latest Petits Filous ‘Mischief Makes Us’ campaign from 25 th September and bespoke shopper marketing in major national retailers across the UK.
Hitting Tesco and Sainsbury’s shelves from 3 rd September and Morrisons from 17th September with an RRP of £1,95.
Yoplait has been fortifying its iconic kids’ brands including Petits Filous and Frubes for over 15 years. These brands in addition to Wildlife and its licence products, Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol yoghurts are all a source of calcium and vitamin D.

About Yoplait
Since 1965, the brand affectionately known as ‘the little flower’ has been spreading French dairy know-how throughout the world. Our brands are present in more than 50 countries, and we are the world’s second largest player in fresh dairy products. We have been pioneers of the dairy category for almost 60 years and launched in the UK in 1991. Iconic brands including Petits Filous, Frubes, Wildlife and Yop are now a staple in UK homes. We want everyone to have access to the nutritional benefits and delicious taste of our yoghurts. We are leaders in fortification and have been adding Calcium and Vitamin D to our kids’ products for 15 years. Proud to be owned by Sodiaal, the largest cooperative of dairy farmers in France, we make sure that their hard work is rewarded by capturing every precious drop of creamy milk inside each of our delicious yoghurts. Innovation runs through our DNA. We were the first to launch fruit yoghurt, the first to launch a drinking yoghurt and the first to launch yoghurt in a tube.
